SHOOTING STAR until recently has been a wellknow charter boat. She appears to be generally structurally and mechanicallysound, however, she has not been well maintained as of late and will need somerepairs and updating do get her back into top condition. The vessel is built ona fiberglass deep-v hull. Her stringer system is fiberglass and bulkheads aremarine plywood tabbed in with fiberglass. The hull to deck joint is mechanicallyand chemically bonded. Her superstructure is moled fiberglass. Her decks are coredfiberglass with non-skid. The hull and structure appear to be sound and showsno evidence of damage or major abuse. Her exterior finish is chalky butgenerally blemish free. She is powered by twin 650hp Detroit diesels withapprox. 2000 hours. The original generator has been replaced and relocated. Thegenerator has 2774 hours. Her electronics are dated. The interior is for themost part original and could use some updating. Vessels overall condition:Fair
