My Bertram 31 has had a lot of work done in the past 2 years. As you know, these boats are highly desirable. People have spent 100s of thousands of dollars on them and basically create master pieces that are works of art. What I believe I have done is create a super sound ocean going boat that most can afford without breaking the bank. I will be adding more pics soon.

The foredeck leading back to the stern was re-glassed not just filled. Most people fill and spray and the stress cracks come back in a couple of years. To do it right you have to grind or sand out the stress cracks and re-glass, sand and fill several million times to get correct. The hull was treated the same way and as you can see from one of the pictures the final product came out really nice. All work was done by Sea Glass technologies in Bristol RI. They are master craftsmen and contracted by Hinkley, Alden and other high-end boat manufactures for their attention to detail and workmanship. The owner is a lifelong friend of mine who is ultra-meticulous. Pictures were taken every week so I have many of them. In regard to the deck and hull, engine boxes and hatches, they went over and over and over and over again to obtain the finest quality of work.

All steering has been replaced, helm, rudder brackets and housing, hydraulics, etc, the list goes on, all has been rebuilt or replaced. New shift cables, new batteries, drive shafts have been taken out and checked, put back in and repacked with Kevlar packing. Bottom has been soda blasted and painted using barrier coat and ablative paint. 230-gal stainless tank. All gauges work.

Twin 454s with 500 hrs. not the original engines. We considered taking the engines out but after close inspection and testing there was no reason to. We never had any problems with the engines or transmissions in the past 6 years we have owned the boat. Wiring is old school and solid, its been gone through and in great condition. Anything that was in question was replaced or rewired and heat shrunk. Interior is original and clean. Cushions have been redone. New salt water wash-down, new bilge pumps, new halon fire system, Black bra that wraps around the windows. Aluminum Bimini not shown. Stand up head with porta-potty. Refrigerator. New floor/deck is being put in now with 3 hatches and side storage. There is too much to list. If you have any questions please ask. I love this boat, its safe, reliable and will get you home. I have had it in really bad conditions and it performed flawlessly. I am selling because I have way to many boats and this one takes up a lot of space in my garage.
