Bentley 240 Cruise Encore SE

Up for sale is a 2011 Bentley 240 Cruise Encore SE Pontoon. She is powered by Mercury 60HP 4 stroke outboard that runs and operates perfectly. It is also known as a 60 bigfoot. It moves this pontoon to around 20mph. This boat is really a party barge with room for an enclosed porta potty and 16 people. This has oversized pontoons and rides high in the water. I am selling this for a friend that bought it brand new. I have known him for several years and have never known this boat to have been anything but a great boat for him. He serviced it annually and it was used an average amount of time per season. He is nervous but I convinced him to sell it with No Reserve.

I ALWAYS call what is right and what is wrong with the stuff that I sell on classifieds board. My 100% rating proves that. Do not believe for a second that there are any 2011 boats that are perfect. They were not perfect when they were brand new. Yet sellers and dealers do not disclose any problems until you are the high bidder and you go to pick up the boat. I call it like it is and show pictures of any issues. There are no secrets with my listing. That is why my rating is 100%. I am unaware of anything else that is wrong with the boat other than what I have listed below.

• The motor and drive operate properly and get very good

  fuel economy.

• The motor has just been major serviced, filters, oil,

  impeller, within the last 25 hours.

• The motor looks brand new under the cowling.
• The motor was sprayed with corrosion guard when it was

  brand new.

• The motor cowling has a few light scratches but overall

  is in excellent condition.

• There are high dollar vinyl floors in this boat that

  are in great shape.

• The seat vinyl is soft and in good shape. The stitching has come undone on several

  seat cushions. They are in good

  enough shape that they could be used for another season or sewn up by any upholstery

  shop and used for many years. I have tried to show this in several

  pictures.

• The bimini top is in fair shape, The frame is in good

  shape. It does have a 6 inch tear

  shown in pictures.

• The word Bentley is stitched into several seats and has

  faded badly. pictures

• The control helm and gauges are in very good

  shape.

• The drivers

  seat is in great shape

• There is typical light corrosion on raw metal

  surfaces.

• The changing room works but could use a few snaps

  replaced.

• The playpen

  walls have typical dents from docking.

  They could use a coat of wax as well.

• High quality marine stereo works great.
• There is a corner missing on the left rear of the

  boat. Shown in pictures

• There is a dent in the play pen in the same corner and

  in the forward corner same side.

• The Pontoons are bottom painted and are in good shape.
• This boat is solid.

  Solid Floors, Solid transom no structural issues whatsoever.

• Mechanically this boat is right as can be. It could use some cosmetic TLC.

Overall this boat is in above average condition mechanically and below average condition cosmetically for its age. I would rate it a 6.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. If it was waxed, detailed an the seats were stitched up this boat would be an 8 to 8.5. If you want a mechanically sound boat that you can polish on and clean up over the winter and save a little money this one is for you. If you want a pretty one that might have some mechanical problems there are plenty of them out there as well.

The trailer is a 2011 model 25 ft double axle galvanized trailer with brakes. The brakes do not work. It is owned by me not the boat owner therefore it is not included in the auction. It is in very good shape. I really do not want to sell it but if you are the high bidder and you just have to have a trailer I would sell it for $2500. The reason for the price is that I would just have to go down and buy a new one to use on my pontoon. New ones this nice are about $3000. They make cheaper ones that are around $2000. You are welcome to bring a trailer and we will take the boat for a spin and put it on your trailer to go home. Plenty of used trailer are out there as well.

Finally, this is a no reserve auction. The high bidder at auction end will be the new owner. Bid on it. This is an auction. Please have permission from your wife, husband, father, mother, sister, brother, partner, banker, bookie or anyone else that could halt the purchase BEFORE you bid on my boat. I report all none paying bidders to classifieds board. I do not cancel any of my auctions. I do not end auctions early. If you want this boatbid on it. Money must clear the bank and be in my account for me to release the boat and sign over the ownership paperwork. This must take place within 7 days of auction end.
