Bayliner Trophy 2460

Up for sale is my 1988 Bayliner Trophy 2460 Offshore with trailer.I am probably going to regret selling this boat, but I have too many toys and not enough room nor time to deal with them all (note the 30' RV in the background of the photos!). I usually keep this boat in a slip for the season, but I got a late start this season and it is currently in my driveway on a trailer.The boat runs great and has been dependable. I mostly used it fishing in the Raritan Bay and in the ocean around Sandy Hook. The engine is an OMC Cobra 5.7L (Chevy small block 350), and was rebuilt 5 years ago. It has 390 hours on it and it runs strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. The engine does leak some oil at the rear main seal (I leave an oil absorbing mat and/or a bilge buddy in the bilge to keep things clean and it works well). I put a fresh tune on the engine at the end of last season. (The first layer of paint is blue so you will know when you need to reapply.)The boat has been well maintained over the years, but it is 29 years old so the fiberglass does show typical wear and blemishing from usage over the year. Overall, this is still a great looking boat, and the Alaskan bulkhead allows me to fish well into the cold weather of December.There is a small piece (approx 3"x1") of the swim platform that broke off in a storm. I might cover this up with textured tape. This doesn't affect the functionality of anything.The anchor light lens needs to be replaced. It broke off on a tree branch while trailering. I have the replacement, it just needs to be installed.The post that holds the dinette table up should be replaced at some point. The table wobbles with the current one.The Boat is being sold as-is. Pickup Only.**The Trailer**The dual axle trailer is included, but there is no title for it. The tires are also dry rotted so I would not recommend taking it on the highway with a boat on it. I only used the trailer to get the boat in and out of the water for the season, and I always use back roads (under 35mph). The trailer lights are a flat 4 wiring harness and the mount is for a 2" ball. If you don't want the trailer and are bringing your own during pickup, there is a boat ramp about 5 minutes away where we can move the boat on to the your trailer there.Feel free to ask any questions.
