This is a no reserve auction fora 1986 Bayliner 21 Capri cuddy with a 5.0 liter Volvo I/O.The trailer shown is NOT included in the sale but is available.We are listing this boat for a third party and representing it in completelyas-isconditionwith noreserve. Please read the ad and view the pictures carefully as this boat will be sold to whoeverhas the high bid at auctions end.We have included153 large pictures below the adto show you as much detailas possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of conditionis based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located inOld Saybrook, Ct, 06475 and is available anytime by appointment.

ThisBayliner will need some minor work to be seaworthy. We hooked up a battery to see what powered up and found thatthe power tilt clicks but will not power down. We think its just the contacts in the solenoids. The engine started fast when we poured a little fuel in the carb but would not stay running on its own. I think it will need the carbcleaned or possibly a fuel pump. It sounded good and strong when running and the crankcase oil is clean and free of any water. The manifolds and risers were recently replacedwhich is an expensive job.The nav lights, bilge blower, bilge pump, fish finder, and remote spotlight all work well. Most if not all of the dash gauges all work. It currently has only 403 hours on the working hour meter.

Cosmetically the boat looks good but would benefit well from acompound and buff/wax.There are no major scratches/dings other than small scuffs that are age appropriate. The cockpit decks arerotted in the stern areas badly and will need the plywood replaced. The battery box area is rotted as well (see pictures). The cockpit cushions and helm seatsare inokay shape other than some fading on the rear sun pad and other small areas. Please view all the pictures below this ad to judge the condition yourself.

TheShoreline trailer shown is inokay shape and is a late80'smodel. It is available for $500.00 additional to final bid price if needed. It is in good shapeand has a solid axle andokay springs. The bearings seem fine and the tires hold air well.The lights willneed replacement. Weonly have a bill of sale for the trailer.
