1997 Bayliner 2859.Here is the story with this boat, I purchased this boat from a friend of mine who ended up buying a bigger boat and did not want to fix it. I bought this boat for the trailer and I am selling the boat now. This is what I was told by the previous owner: Last spring when he went to start the boat water was coming out of the block and he noticed a freeze plug was popped out. He put freeze plug in, started motor and it ran/sounded fine. He noticed when he got to his boat slip that water was in the oil when he pulled the dip stick. I assume he cracked the block due to improper winterizing but I am not sure. I would think the boat probably needs a new long block.He drained the oil and put fresh oil in the boat and never tried to start it again. The boat seems to be in pretty good shape for its age, it just needs a good cleaning. The boat has Raymarine electronics, I believe it is radar/GPS/depth, VHF radio, and a stereo.It does not have a generator or air conditioner. I have a clear title for the boat. I am selling this boat in AS IS condition with no warranty. The buyer is responsible for pick up/transporting. I can drive the boat to a boat ramp to put in water and put on your trailer, or if you are having it transported, I can take it to a marina to have the marina lift the boat up with the travel lift and put on a transport trailer, at buyers expense. Just to say again the trailer IS NOT part of this sale it is for the boat only. I also have this item listed locally and I have the right to end auction early if I sell it not on classifieds board.
