1997 Bayliner 2859.Here is the story with this boat, I purchased this boat from a friend ofmine who ended up buying a bigger boat and did not want to fix it. I bought this boat for the trailer and I amselling the boat now. This is what I wastold by the previous owner: Last springwhen he went to start the boat water was coming out of the block and he noticeda freeze plug was popped out. He putfreeze plug in, started motor and it ran/sounded fine. He noticed when he got to his boat slip thatwater was in the oil when he pulled the dip stick. I assume he cracked the block due to improperwinterizing but I am not sure. I wouldthink the boat probably needs a new long block.He drained the oil and put fresh oil in the boat and never tried tostart it again. The boat seems to be inpretty good shape for its age, it just needs a good cleaning. The boat has raymarine electronics, I believeit is radar/GPS/depth, VHF radio, and a stereo.It does not have a generator or air conditioner. I have a clear title for the boat. I am selling this boat in AS IS condition withno warranty. The buyer is responsiblefor pick up/transporting. I can drivethe boat to a boat ramp to put in water and put on your trailer, or if you arehaving it transported, I can take it to a marina to have the marina lift theboat up with the travel lift and put on a transport trailer. Just to say again the trailer IS NOT part of this sale it is for the boat only. I also have this item listed locally and I have the right to end auction early if I sell it not on classifieds board.
