Take a look at this 2002 Bayliner 2150 Classic Bowrider with a powerful Mercruiser 5.0L V8 and sitting on a newer 22' tandem axle galvanized trailer.Mechanical:When looking for quality and reliability you can look no further than a well maintained Mercruiser V8 I/O motor and this is no exception here. As you can see by the photos this is a well maintained and clean engine in the transom compartment of this boat. This boat was mainly used in fresh water in Illinois by its previous owner and only saw salt water usage a few times a summer when it was trailered down. Upon inspection we found this engine in perfect running order with only 157 hrs of usage stored in the computer and approx 160-170 PSI compression on all eight cylinders. The lower unit just received a fresh fluid change and also replaced the exhaust bellows, u-joints, and gimbal bearing to bring it back to perfect running condition for the next owner. The gauges have been inspected and all functioning perfectly with the exception of the fuel gauge which is reading erratically and will need rewired or new sending unit. Other accessory items were also inspected to include blower motor, bilge pump, navigation lights, and anchor lights and all found in working order. Overall mechanical systems show very little usage as the hrs on the boat indicate and runs great topping out around 45-50 MPH with several people on board.Cosmetic:Finding a hull of this age in perfect condition may be a tough task but that is exactly what your getting here in this solid 21.5' Bayliner beauty. The previous owners took pride in keeping this hull in great condition with very few blemishes as you can see by the photos provided. Recently this boat has been compounded, buffed, and waxed to bring out that beautiful gel coat luster for its new owner. The seating is in above average condition for a boat of this age as it shows very clean with no signs of wear, tears, or sun fading. The carpeting in the boat shows some signs of age with a few frays on the edges and stretching in a couple of areas but is not a major eye sore nor in need of replacing anytime soon. Plenty of storage under the seats in the bow area and room for larger items in the ski locker located in the floor. Also included in the sale is a full 2 piece canvas package that covers the cockpit area and bow area to keep the interior out of the elements while not being used. Overall this is so clean of a boat you can own today and be very proud of as your friends will never guess this is a 2002 model year boat.Trailer:The trailer provided with this sale is a 2008 Continental tandem axle galvanized bunk trailer that shows very little wear and it helped transport this boat back and forth from Illinois to Florida several times with zero issues. The tires show very little wear and were all replaced within the last 12 months. The bearings were recently inspected and greased and found to all be in good working order.
