2006 Bayliner 212 Cuddy
5.0 Mercruiser Alpha One SterndriveThere is no hour meter but I think it only has approx 150
hours on it. I just replaced the original distributor cap and it was still in
pretty good condition. This boat is completely ready for the water right now. Includes a nice dual axle aluminum I beam trailer with 4
wheel disc brakes. All the lights work, the bearings have just been greased and
the tires are like new. The winch and jack work great. I just did everything that this boat could possibly
need. I once owned a Mercruiser repair
shop in NJ. All of the service work that was done would cost over $1500 at a dealer.New impeller and gear lube, new shift cable, new U-joint, exhaust
and shift cable bellows, new gimbal bearing. Full tune up. New spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor.
New fuel filter and fuel separator.Timing checked and corrosion guard applied, belt and fluids checked. Dual batteries with switch, automatic bilge pumpAll the gauges work including the trim gauge and the
speedometer. All the switches work including the horn. This boat has deck lighting and cabin lights (working)Bimini top (pictured) Brand new full boat cover included
(not pictured) paid $300Brand new Sunbrella cockpit cover and bow cover ($1200 value)There is a port-a-potti and it stows in the cabin on a
sliding mount under the deck so that it's out of the way.Full Coast Guard package included horn, life jackets, flares,
type IV throwable PFDFenders and lines includedVHF radio (ship to shore), compassNew Stereo and 2 new speakers (2 additional speakers in the cabin working fine)There is a nice anchor locker with an anchor included. There is also a fresh water system that works but I don't
use
This boat rides great in choppy water. I have had it out in the Gulf on some rough days and have never really taken a pounding. It's economical on fuel and has a top speed of around 45mph. Bayliner says it will do 47mph. It might, really light. It cruises without effort at 30-35mph. The reason I'm selling it is lack time to use it. I always keep this boat really clean and I just don't have the time to keep it spotless and take it out. I have way more hours cleaning and buffing than boating. This boat spent most of its life in fresh water on the Peace River. The boat was just professionally compounded 2 months ago and just washed and waxed 8/16 and is in very clean condition. It runs and performs great and is ready for a new owner. I have a title for the boat and a "home-built" registration for the trailer.
These boats comp for $12,500 - $16,000
I always try to describe everything I sell on classifieds board accurately. There are a few minor blemishes that I must mention in the interest of full disclosure. The bimini top is original to the boat and is not in brand new condition like all 3 covers are but it works and looks good. There is a small chip in the fiberglass on the swim platform (see pictures). There is a minor stain on one of the cabin cushions (see pictures). It may clean up I don't know but the cabin is clean, is not moldy and does not smell. The drivers seat is a little more worn than the other seats, again it's not bad I just want to describe this accurately (see pictures). Trailer brakes inop (as usual) The fishfinder seems to power up and I think it works for as a depth finder but if you want a nice one I would budget for its replacement. I never used it.
