1999 Bayliner Ciera 3055

We have owned this boat since 2002. In 2013 after I retired, we rebuilt the boat at a friend's shop over three months of daily labor. The original 5.0 Mercruisers were replaced with new, fresh water-cooled Sea Core 5.0 EFI engines, new Bravo drives and transom assemblies at a cost of $30,450 resulting in a 40 hp increase. The exterior seating, canvas, rub rail were removed was replaced $5,000. The refrigerator, head, hot water heater, battery charger were replaced $3,000. A new Kohler 5K generator was installed $7,000.

The electronics were removed and replaced with Raymarine Color Digital radar, and a E125 display, depth finder $6,500. A $1,200 Vessel View provided engine digital data. The old stereo was replaced with a Fusion entertainment system which is Iphone capable allowing you to show movies on the tv. New sub woofers (2) and six speakers were installed with two amplifiers. A 1,000 watt base amp and a 1,250 watt amp. Temperature controled cooling fans were installed to ensure the amps do not overheat on hot days at the sand bar. $4,000

We would not have invested this much money in the boat if we ever intended to sell it. Due to my wife's medical condition, degenerative spinal disorder, the ride is too rough for her on long cuises. Since it is our goal to spend more time on the sea we have to move on to a larger boat. Our loss is your gain.

This is new equipment in an older hull and a lot cheaper than buying new. Take a look at the other 3055, 305 listed and pricing. You will find boats with engines that are not fresh water cooled with high engine hours. This is the best engine package you can get. Fresh water cooled with only 214 hours on the engines and the generator has only 134 hours.

The boat is and has been kept on a hydro hoist out of the water so the drives look like new without any damage from barnacles. The price includes the Hydro Hoist it is sitting on for $35K, or $30K without it. In addition, it comes with many extras, full boat cover, extra set of props and other hard to find items including a factory fresh breaker panel for when and if it needs to be replaced.
