1983 Bayliner Capri With A Single Axle Roller Trailer For Sale

I am listing this boat and trailer for a friend who does not have an classifieds board account. This is a NO RESERVE auction with a very low starting price. PLEASE ask any and all questions before bidding and I will get the answers for you. Below is the description from my friend. 1983 Bayliner Capri with a single axle roller trailer for sale. I just bought a bigger boat with twins to better suit my fishing needs, so this one has to go. This is a PROJECT boat which needs work, or a great donor boat/trailer. The Good: Newer rebuilt engine and recently serviced outdrive. Decent single axle trailer with rollers. Boat has title in hand, trailer only comes with bill of sale. The Bad: I kept the boat in the water at my condo in Ocean City; the bottom needs to be pressure washed. The floor has soft spots, I have removed the carpeting but have not done the repairs. The upholstery needs attention as well. Below is a description from the mechanic who has done work on this boat, what parts it comes with, and what needs attention from his perspective (I'm trying to be as transparent as possible): 1983 Bayliner Capri 19.5 open bow with a rebuilt Volvo Penta AQ125A 2.1L engine and 270 outdrive. The engine was fully rebuilt with all Federal-Mogul / sealed power rings, bearings, complete timing, water pump, lifters, and all gaskets and seals. The head was professionally machined and line bored for the camshaft. It has a new alternator, electronic ignition, rebuilt raw water pump (another complete impeller kit is included as well), trim motor, carburetor (just done and hasn't been fired on it yet), starter (rebuilt but may have a problem again) and some other parts. The coupler shaft seals were done and outdrive was stripped and completely rebuilt with the exception of the prop shaft seal however that will be included. Bellows and intake hoses were replaced this year and another new kit with all is included as well. The interior was recovered but needs work as it was opened up to fish. The main harness connection is going to have to be either replaced or just wired through as we found corrosion damaged in most of the connections and cause some of the issues we had. Motor has less than 10 hours since rebuild and have all documentation to prove. The paint on the motor isn't perfect anymore from sitting on the water. The engine is fresh water cooled and extremely fuel efficient making this a great project or donor if you need a motor.
