Baja 342 BOSS 2000. These Bajas are getting hard to find and this one is worth having. The boat and Port engine have 715ish hours on them. The Starboard engine was rebuilt 19 hours ago. I took the boat to Ultra Marine Services in Louisville Tn in June and they went from one end to the other. They redid wiring, replaced Inverter/Chargers, replaced batteries, the majority of the gaskets in the engines/exhaust and transom at drives. They tuned the engines changed all the fluids replaced raw water pickups did compression tests(all good) replaced sensors, bad gauges, solenoids, filters, oils, shifter cables, etc etc etc. to the tune of $8,140.76. They do great work and are extremely professional! Boat runs strong. What I would do to the boat if I were keeping it to make it perfect. I would have a pro detail and wax it, it shines and is in good shape, but that's what I would do. The sunpad/engine cover has been redone and I hate it, The bench seat has thinner foam than it should and the bolsters need redone due to some small cracks (see Pics) I think this is an easy $50,000 boat with those cosmetic things done. I spoke to the original upholstery shop for Baja and they have everything to make the sunpad and seats perfect and factory. The sunpad/engine hatch backseat and bolsters can be done between $4,000- $6,000 depending on whether you have them, yourself, or someone else to do the labor. Now if I kept the boat, I would remove sunpad back seat and bolsters and drive them to them and have them do the work but that's just me. Now having said that, its very usable and in good shape as is, I'm just telling you what would make it perfect! And obviously boat comes with tri axle trailer. I have not used it like I thought I would because we have a pontoon boat at the marina and its just so easy to go use. I guess I'm getting old. I only used boat for about 6 hours this year and its just sitting so it needs to go. I am about to build a new barn and I have another project I'm working on so I need the coins!PS!! just to make sure everyone understands because I had a question that seems I might had left everyone confused. The sunpad/engine hatch fiberglass, construction, and integrity is perfect. I just don't like the flat sunpad. The factory sunpad had 3 headrests and I think it should be redone with new foam and original skins with original design and materials.
