Baja Baja 220 Sport

This auction is for a 1986 FiberglassBaja 220 Sport. This boat has a Mercruiser 260 HP 350 V8 with the rare Alpha SS drive. It runs excellent and currently shows 400 hrs. Engine oil and drive oil were both changed at the beginning of the season. The Nav Lights, Blower, Bilge Pump, Horn, and even the clock are all in good working condition. This boat has always been a fresh water boat. It comes with a tandem axle Trailmaster trailer, which tows nicely, and comes with a new spare. The prop is a 23P High Five and runs somewhere close to 60 MPH. Cuddy cushions are brown shown in the bow area,in nice shape. It has 2 gas tanks, 24 gallons each and a switch on the dash to switch back and forth, this is a great option, and the boat is pretty easy on gas too. It has a cockpit cover. Keep in mind this is a 1986, not a brand new boat so expect the normal wear and tear of an older boat. The boat is very solid except for a small spot in the floor (in the corner in front of the rear bench. It's been that way since I've owned it.) One of the hatch handles has a piece missing and the ladder on back of boat needs repaired as seen in the photo. A piece of the wood platform broke and the screws on the hand rails pulled out. Paint is good on the boat as you can see, but would really stand out with a good wax and buff job. If you are looking for a boat that is ready to use right now, this is the one for you. We have had lots of fun with this boat, I bought it originally with the intention of just keeping it a couple months and then selling it but we really enjoyed it so I have owned it about 4 years. The reason for selling now is only had in water one time this year to check operating condition. The motor started easily and ran great. Was on the water for about one hour without any problems.
