Baja 38 Special

1997 Baja 38. Special2006 15,000 # TrailerStory behind the boat is, my father purchased it 9 years ago as a project. It has twin 502 mpi mercruisers with aftermarket Pro Chargers. The boat was in a collision on the trailer on the starboard side. There wasn't any kind of water intrusion. When he first got the boat he repaired the fiberglass put it in primers and it sat shrink wrapped for the past 8 years. Last year he decided to get it out and finish it so we had the all the cockpit upholstery redone, painted the entire boat with PPG delfleet paint, purchased Seadek for the swim platform and a few other areas of the boat. Props were redone along with the gimbal bearings and painted the drives. As we started on the engines we did the starboard one first. It turned over fine so we put new impeller and housing and started running new fuel line. Then we started working on the port engine. This is where we ran into an issue. That engine is completely seized up. So we stopped and he decided not pursue it anymore. Cosmetically boat is in great shape. Drives go up and down, Trans shift , K planes work etc. Trailer is good to go too. The lights on it work fine surge brakes work great and we put sliders on the bunks.
