Bahner Bubble Deck

Up forauction is a 1981 Bahner Bubble Deck Jet Boat. Included in purchase price is hull w/ jet intake & aluminum fuel tanks, complete (disassembled)Berkeley 12JCA jet drive with aluminum A impeller, Competitive Roadmaster tandem axle trailer, interior, bimini top with storage boot, new (old-stock)Beede gauges and misc rigging parts.

This is a project boat. I tried to include as much detail as possible in the photos to show what needs to be repaired. Left stringer has some repairable delamination in engine area. Left transom wood has some rot, which is also repairable. There is also some cosmetic damage on the hull, which is shown in the pictures. Hassurface stress cracking in gel coat, which is typical of most old school jet boats. Carpet is in bad shape and needs to be replaced.

Trailer needs tires; preferably higher profile than the ones that are on it. Left sidefender needs to be repaired or replaced. Rear cross member is bowed towards the rear; probably causedfrom dragging in road dips, driveways, etc., because of the low profile tires. Buyer should pick up on flat bed or bring set of trailer wheel/tires........or at least a spare, if traveling an extended distance.

Interior and bimini top are in great shape with the exception of some damage on the orange piping on the back portion of the seats and the engine surround. (See picture added 8/19). Since the hinged engine cover is missing, my intent was to modify the engine surround into a simple pulley cover and leave the engine exposed.

Includesmisc. rigging parts: New (old-stock) Beede gauges (6000RPM Tachometer, Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, Volt Meter, Fuel Level, Hour Meter),forward/reverse shifter, push-pull switches, ignition switch, bilge pump, wire harness, exhaust hose andaluminum exhaust tips.

This package does not include:engine, engine mounts, exhaust manifolds, drive line,steering system, steering tube, shift cable, ski tow, fuellines,tank selector valve,throttle pedal or throttle cable.

Berkeley 12JCA is disassembled and includes everything for rebuild including new .015" undersizedwear ring w/ insulator, new, top-quality-NSKthrust bearing, packings, bowl bushings,seals and gaskets.
