Description:
This beautiful 23' Atlas triple cockpit runabout is the last known example to exist. It was completely resorted from the keel up using a cold molding process resulting in incredibly perfect hull sides that resemble slabs of book matched mahogany. Power is a smooth running Chrysler 331 Hemi engine. This boat has some interesting history in that it was the boat used in a company publicity stunt when the President of Atlas Boat Company, the president of Universal Engine Company and a mechanic left the company docks in Menominee, Michigan and ran down to the Navy pier in Chicago for the boat show. Please contact Greg Jackson at phone cell with questions.
Questions
Is this boat still available? I am working on an Upper Peninsula Wooden Boat Exhibit, and would be interested in photographing for our exhibit. Our 2017 exhibit is specifically about wooden boats built in the Upper Peninsula.

I now own this incredible boat on a lake in northeast Georgia and would appreciate any historical information about this incredible boat. Thanks, Armin
