Aquasport

The boat for sale is a 1997 Aquasport 215 Explorer powered with a 200HP Evinrude OceanPro. The boat is in great condition, but has minor scrapes and scuffs from years of use. Examples would be things such as the rubber bumper guard around the edge of the boat and very minor scuffs in the fiberglass. The gauges also need some work, or to be replaced. I have owned the boat for four years and have enjoyed many times on the lake. Last year after unloading the boat into the lake and letting it run at idle, it decided to shut off. I was unable to start the motor back and have since had the problem pinpointed to a cracked piston skirt in one of the pistons. Due to a change in career and schedule, I no longer have time to enjoy the lake, and therefore don't need the boat. I have had the repair estimated at $3500.00, which is just rebuilding the engine, but have decided to take this cost off the price of the boat versus having it done myself. The boat also comes with a Magic-Tilt trailer with rollers, equipped with tires with very low miles. The trailer does have some rust on the axles from ocean use, but has not been put in saltwater since I have owned it. The boat also comes with a Lowrance depth finder that I will include.
