Aquasport

1987 Aquasport Power boat, has vhf, gps, fish finder, stereo, standup shower w/hot water, stove, microwave, tv, and nice windlass, and its all in good working order. You could easily live on this boat.I converted this boat to electric in 2012. I've saved about $2,000 in gas so far cruising the bay with it. It has two 17hp electric engines driving duel props. Its has atleast a four hour range at 3.5 knotts.I have 16 trojan TL16 batteries powering the boat that are less than 3years old, the batteries have a ten year life or 1500 recharge cycles. Its a great boat for cruising the bay, but if you want to use it as a sport fisher again, your probably going to have to put diesels or gas motors back in it, I have most of the parts to do that.I'm building a sailboat now, so want to sell this project. Its a killer deal, the price I'm asking is less than the list price of the batteries alone. Its two twin 18" props are new and the bottom was painted this year with all new zincs.
