What allison Boats did u have and what was the best boat u ever had. Nothing else seams to quite be an Allison to me but maybe it's just me. I know if i get rid of mine then I won't buy another one till I find one just like I have now and put a jack plate on it and the tower of power 140 merc cause with that combination I'm smoking the boats with V8 motors on them and shit they are dumping tens upon tens of thousands on these things and here I am blowing by them with my 1980 Allison and my 1970s motor like it isn't shit. I got my boat way the f*** under 10 thoisand. These guys at the tournaments getting pissed when a little cheap ass old boat like mine blows their 100,000 dollar boat away easily and I let them take of first I would take off after all the boats left and we're all gone. I would be the only one sitting there idling and then I would slam my pedal down nice and smooth to the floor motor screaming and their boats they paid all that money for don't even stand a chance. Not even the bigger ones with the V8 on them I would smoke them to especially from start to top speed. It also helped that they would get nervous and bump the throttle down but I wouldn't and it wasn't even hardly touching the water maybe a piece of the ass end and the prop that's it. Straight scooting down the water trying to flip her but she never did, that nose stayed down from take off to 60 some almost 70 miles an hour and any boater knows that's scooting on the water especially with the light boat I had. Those Allison's are light as shit I can pull that thing up on my trailer dry by myself with out the motor and shit on it like it was nothing and Im Not a big person at all maybe 170 and 5'10" so I'm not sure what it weighs but it can't be much. I really don't understand how I was keeping that boat on the water at those speeds. Def won't ever buy any other boat. Anyone who makes them like they make them has to be way ahead of the ball game when it comes to boats and know a few more things than anyone else cause thése other boat companies still can't make a boat like mine and mine is 43 years old. And besides doesn't all of the Allison boats have almost all of the speed records held with their boats. Every size of boat they ever made and almost every model they would come put with would be at the previous models record. From what someone was telling me anyways. Is that true or not because i definitely believed what he was saying due to my experience with them. Just curious if anyone else thought the same but I feel that jack plate on the back of mine was also a game changer. Made it from a pretty fast boat to a screaming relentless boat with a downforce on the front keeping the boat from flipping. If u do not have one I recommend it because it will completely change ur boat expectations and no more standing up when u take off just straight takes the f off and the nose stays down and never goes but a little over level they are amazing or at least it is on mine.
