This is auction for a 1983 Wellcraft V-20 Steplift with a Mercruiser 4 cylinder I/O.The trailer shownIS NOTincluded in the sale but available (please read description for details).We are listing this boat and representing it in completelyas-iscondition. Please read the ad and view the pictures carefully as this boat will be sold to whoeverhas the high bid at auctions end.We have included99 large pictures below the adto show you as much detailas possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of conditionis based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located inOld Saybrook, Ct, 06475 and is available anytime by appointment.

Thisclassic V-20 Step-lift is in very original condition but will need work. It was put away running but has been neglected for the past 10 years. It is moldy, dirty and weathered. The seating is falling apart as are the interiorcushions and headliner. The bow deck is slightly soft and the hatch over the fuel tank and cockpit locker are as well. The gel coat is in good shape and would clean up well with abuffing and wax job. The gel coat is all original on the entire boat. Mechanicallyit will need some work.We spun the engine over by handand it spins freely. It is a fresh water cooled Mercruiser 3.7 liter 4 cylinder. The oil is clean and at the proper level. We opened the fresh water cooling reservoir and it was still pressurized and full of coolant.It is our opinion that the engine will run with somelight work and commissioning.We did not hook up or charge the batteries to see if anything works. The driveand bellows lookto be in good shape but we were unable to inspecttheoutdrivefor operation. The boat is equipped with a dual battery set up and mechanically the boat looks to be 100%complete and un-tampered with.Please view all99 pictures below this ad to judge the condition yourself.

The trailer shownIS NOT included in the sale but available for $500 additional.It has a transferable registration for transfer of ownership. The tires have heavydry rot but hold air.They should be replaced before moving the boat. The springs and axle look solid. The lights do notwork. It is equipped with a power winch but wedid not test operation.We canbe hired tomake any repairs to the trailer if needed. We can deliver as well for $3.00 per hauled mile.

We havetransferable registrations for the boat and trailer in hand.
