1999 Toyota Epic 22 Ski/Wakeboard BoatMagic Tilt Trailer-Custom built AluminumLexus 300 HP-VT300i 4.0L V8 Engine
Only 165 Original HoursUp for sale is a 1999 Toyota Epic S22 open bow, inboard ski/wakeboard boat. For those of you who don't know much about these, please do some google search's to find out other's opinions on how exceptional these vessels are! I actually sold this boat new in 1999 to the original owner, I was formerly a partner in a large retail boat dealership here in the Tampa Bay area, and we were one of the few authorized Epic dealer's. The original owner was a wealthy snow bird that used her very little while they were here in Florida a couple of weeks a year. They sold it to a friend of theirs about a year ago who recently decided it was more boat than he and the Mrs needed, then we recently had theopportunityto get her back. As of right now she has only 162 hours (I listed with 165 in case we run her a few more times before the auctions end,) and will make someone a wonderful boat. The Epic is the smoothest shifting/running/driving tow/ski boat and is a blast to drive. She was designed to have a really clean, smooth, soft wake at skiing speeds, while having a larger curled wake at wakeboard speeds. The 35 degree bow entry combined with the 9 degree deadrise aft create an inboard boat that actually ride's well even in light chop. The picture slideshow above can be clicked on to view in full screen. There are over 70 Pics there for you to look at, please look carefully and if there is something that you would like to see that isn't included please ask and we'll get it to you.The boats were actually built by Maritec industries in Groveland, FL. They are best known for the products they build today, the Shearwater/Sterling and Blackwood saltwater boats, as well as the Gambler line of bass boats. Everything they have ever built including the Toyota Epics have a fit and finish you normally wouldn't see in a "production" boat. As far as I know the Epic was the first "tow" boat to incorporate a full fiberglass/composite build including a composite deck as well as a composite/ceramic transom core. This boat has been very well kept for her age and structurally should last a few lifetimes. She is starting to show a little wear, somestitchinghas come loose on the motor cover (see pics) but the vinyl itself still looks good. She fires up immediately and sounds awesome, all gauges are working currently with the exception of the oil pressure gauge. The carpet on the port side of the motor box has a few small wrinkles in it but no tears anywhere.Includes:Working Navigation Lights
Digital Depth Finder
Storage under bow seating
Storage under passenger console
Fold out door to block wind beneath windshield
Insulated cooler under passenger seat
Removable composite rear seating
Integrated Cup Holder's and Handrails
Pop up cleats and fender holders
Removable Composite Swim Platform (Great for garage storage)
Swim platform courtesy lighting
Transom pop up ski tow
Large Transom Storage Locker
Four Bladed Prop
Ski tow in front of the motor box

Fresh Water Flush System for motorThe Magic Tilt aluminum trailer was custom built for this particular boat when it was purchased new. At the time the boat's either came with a painted or galvanized steel trailer. At the time we had this custom designed and built to fit this particular boat and I don't know of any other's quite like this one. The boat spent much of her life in a boat house and the trailer itself was stored. It does have a ding in the port side fender, the disc brakes have been disconnected, and if I were going to take her for an extended haul I may even consider replacing the tires soon. The bearing's feel and sound great. The boat is being sold with a clean and clear Florida title. FOR ANY CONCERNS OR QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL/EMAIL PRIOR TO BIDDING. I TRY TO DESCRIBE EVERYTHING AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE GOOD OR BAD. The boat is currently in Palmetto, FL, just south of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, zip code 34221. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auctions end or purchase, balance within 7 days. If these terms don't fit your schedule please call before bidding to discuss.Joe Kelly
