2001 Stingray 180LS Bowrider with 3.0L Volvo Penta engine with SX drive. This boat is a recent trade-in &we have decided to offer this boat for sale in AS-IS condition. The engine will need a replacement longblock. We have them available for purchase at a special rate if interested. The hull & trailer are good. Comes with bow & cockpit cover. could I put a new mercruiser 3.0 in this with the existing vp SX outdrive? Would I need special adapters, cables, etc?
