Been a great family boat for us, but girls are in college now and it is time to sell. Wife and I sewed a new Snnbrella cover that goes over the bimini and hangs well below the rub line to protect the gel coat and speed in and out of the water (lets us leave the bimini up all the time vs original cover). Now need to clean the boat and compund the sides but took pictures as is today.I have added Humminbird GPS and Fishfinder, Bennett trim tabs and Standard Horizon DSC VHF Radio.Dual axel trailer is original and has no brakes. As I only tow boat from parking lot to gas station and ramp and my truck has plenty of stopping power I removed the drum brakes when they rusted out a couple of years ago. Trailer would need brakes to tow safely over the mountains to the lakes.Below is from a boattest.com review. The Islandia combines all the space of a deckboat with the benefits of jet power and the look of a sport boat. Her jet drive engine offers lots of benefits including fast, powerful acceleration, greater handling abilities which means no slipping in tight turns, and a shoal draft, meaning it can venture into areas where most boats her size wouldnt dare. Most importantly the jet drive engine obviously provides greater operating safety. The Islandia is a big 22-footer with seating for twelve. A back seat can either be used as a sunpad, or the seats lift up to become a huge recliner. Either way, its designed for ultimate comfort. Theres a double helm seat for extra comfort or another passenger that tilts sideways in order to socialize with the rest of the crowd. The bow provides seating room for five and she can be reboarded from the bow as well as the stern by a ladder thats concealed in a forward hatch.A food preparation area with sink, cooler and trash container adds convenience and creature comforts to a 22-footer, as does the spacious changing room and starboard head, just forward of the helm. The swim platform is big enough for two kids to sit side by side and put on their water gear. The ski tow eye makes the Islandia a good ski boat, and the ladder lets you get in and out of the water easily. The Islandia is loaded with standard features such as non-skid decking, padded bolster seating, a control steering system which lets you steer at low speeds, ski storage in the sole, and AM/FM stereo with CD player. In addition, she has reboarding platforms on both the bow and stern, which is an unusual feature. Theres a built-in cooler, glove compartment, and tow hook for tubing or skiing. The water-resistant gauges are backlit, so theyre easy to read at night, and theres a 12-volt jack so you can plug in a cell phone or spotlight. The Islandia is powered by a single 240-hp Mercury M2 EFI jet engine that was developed specifically for this model. Out on the water she turned out to be a good performer jumping out of the hole in just 3.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 40.5 mph at 4500 rpm. Her best cruise was 26.8 mph giving her a range of 98 miles on a full tank of fuel. Overall, the Sea-Doo Islandia has a lot to offer for a 22-footer. Shes not only a good performer, but shes also a versatile sport boat that can be transformed to suit your needs, whether its waterskiing you like, pulling up to a beach for a picnic, or simply sun bathing, the Islandia is an ideal platform for these activities.Sea-Doo Islandia Test Result HighlightsTop speed for the Sea-Doo Islandia is 40.5 mph (65.2 kph), burning 26.7 gallons per hour (gph) or 101.06 liters per hour (lph).Best cruise for the Sea-Doo Islandia is 26.8 mph (43.1 kph), and the boat gets 1.98 miles per gallon (mpg) or 0.84 kilometers per liter (kpl), giving the boat a cruising range of 98 miles (157.72 kilometers).Tested power is 1 x 240-hp Mercury M2 EFI Jetdrive.
