Regal Valanti

This is a 1991 Regal Valanti 170 that I bought last winter as my project. It has an all new 3/4 inch treated marine plywood floor and new midnight gray marine carpet throughout. I rebuilt every seat with 3/4 inch marine plywood, new hinges and hardware, and had everything reupholstered with high grade white marine vinyl. I completely rebuilt the transom with Seacast (it's a company based out of Florida that creates a product that makes your transom a solid fiberglass transom instead of wood so it will never rot, is stronger than wood, and will probably outlast the rest of the boat.) I installed a new stereo with four new speakers and two brand new marine batteries. I also installed a 12v power outlet for charging phones and running the air pump for tubes. The motor is a 1990 Mercury 135 Blackmax that is a workhorse. It puts the boat on plane quickly and with two people and all the gear will run 38-40 depending on the fuel you are running. My wife and I had a ton of fun on it this summer skiing and tubing with friends and family but have decided to move on to the next project. The trailer pulls like a dream and loads very easy. All the boat needs is a good wax and buff to really shine!
