Shell Lake La Sabre 500

For sell is my 1965 Shell Lake 14ft Runabout with original 50hp West Bend/Chrysler Golden Shark 500 outboard motor with Synchro-Drive controls. We just had our first child and don't have the time to spend with my newborn, the boat and other projects and need the room in the garage for the wife to park. I don't plan on using the boat this year and would rather it be in the water with someone else than sitting outside not being used. The boat is 14 ft long, 66 in beam, transom height 20 in, boat weight 440 lbs, max passenger/load of 935 lbs. Horn, spotlight and marker lights all work. It currently has original motor that is 50hp but can handle up to 65hp as per manufacturer the motor does not run right now but starter does engage and turn the flywheel. Coils were replaced this year. The carburetor probably needs cleaned up? I do have an original Service Manual for the motor that covers 3 1/2 through 50 HP outboards 1963-1965 that I am including. New endcut balsa wood floor was installed in fall of 2014 and hull and top were sanded down and refinished spring of 2015 in TotalBoat Wet Edge Topside Paint color Sea Foam: a one-part high gloss polyurethane topside finish and White of the same brand on the hull. The brand and name graphics were replaced at the same time.Seats were rebuilt during the spring of 2015 with grey marine carpet put in also. Fuel tank is 5 gal and does not leak but the fuel priming bulb should probably be replaced soon. Comes with a boat cover that has kept the dust off the boat as it has been garage kept since I bought the boat in 2010. Convertible top is included, it has a tear in the top that is visible in the photos, I think it is original to the boat but do not know for sure but the fabric should be replaced if you plan on using it. The convertible top folds forward and nests against the windshield or you can remove it. The windshield has a crack on the drivers side that has been epoxied and hasn't grown any larger. I've seen people make replacements with polycarbonate that work very well, but don't have the time to do. Trailer is included all the lights work and has a spare tire. The boat has been refinished but it isn't flawless it is 51 years old but it is in great condition the hull and transom is solid and there are no soft spots. The boat is currently registered and has a clear title, trailer is not titled as it is not required in my state.
