Year ago I lost my job and toys have to go.

For bid is:

One of a kind, unique 1971 trailer-able Land n Sea houseboat with tri-axle trailer.

Length 28ft, Beam 8ft. What makes this houseboat special is its mobility. It can be trailed from lake to lake by a 3/4ton truck or SUV. There is no need for any DMV permit since the width is 8ft.

The houseboat is great for family fun, teen wakeboarding or live-on board year around. Sleeps 6-7. Bow area bed is expendable to accommodate up to 3 people, two bunk beds and seating area transfers into a bed for two.

The houseboat comes with 3 axle trailer. Trailer axles, electric brakes and wheels/tires were replaced in 2015. New trailer receiver and jack were also fitted. Bunk banks were replaced for new ones and new LED lights were installed.

Mattresses are new since 2015

It has Air Conditioning and heater as well. House boat has shore power hookup and new silent Honda EU3000 generator for lake camping on undeveloped land. Silent generator is enclosed in noise insulated box. You can barely hear it while it is running. Front ramp makes easy access from beach while anchored. Front spot light makes it easier to search for camp site in the dark.

New bottom gel-coat was applied in 2015. The old windows were replaced for new and larger ones with open option. That creates great views from seating area inside.

Houseboat was mechanically restored in 2015 as well. Original 140hp engine was replaced for 260hp Mercruiser with new carburetor, fuel pump, alternator and distributor. Outdrive was replaced for Mercruiser Alpha1 Gen2 drive. Outdrive has new pump and shift cable.

Two new fuel tanks were installed. Boat was fitted with new electric trims.

Control stations and cables were replaced and new dual control mixing stations were installed.

Navigation lights were replaced for LED lights.

New plumbing and faucets were installed including toilet, toilet pump and house pump. New 11 gallon water heater/ heat exchanger was put in. Water is heated up while engine is running or from shore power/generator. Tall shower makes it relaxing after all day fun on a lake. Kitchen has new countertop and faucet as well. It is equipped with 4 propane gas burner stove and microwave. Propane tank storage is outside well build into deck.

Fresh water tanks were replaced and two additional water tanks were installed. Front water tank was plumbed as gray water storage.

While on lake you can use lake water for shower. Water goes through new filtration system.

Seating area was elevated to created additional storage and second refrigerator was fitted in.

New bilge pumps were installed and merserator pump was replaced.

New marine battery charger keeps batteries charged.

New Samsung and DVD player were installed with option of laptop computer hook up. Omnidirectional antenna makes it easy to find programs on lake.

With this 260hp engine we are able to water sky and wake surf behind the boat. New ballast was build in under water level for better balance and is great for wake surfing. With high flow pump the ballast is filled in minutes and same way empties itself.

Bow thruster was installed for better navigation in marina and easy landings at a dock. Works perfect.

Upper deck was fitted with two seats and two bench seats. Barbeque grill is conveniently located a cross from table on upper deck. The deck arrangement makes it great for pleasant gathering.

New LED lights were installed on the deck.

On upper deck all engine instruments and switches are new.

Inside off the houseboat all lights were replaced for LED lights.

New Jensen stereo was installed in 2015.

Houseboat is sold as is, where is. Buyer is responsible for pick up and transportation. I am willing to transport the boat 50miles for free.

Houseboat was designed by company in San Francisco and was tested mainly on Ocean therefore behaves great on lake. It has rigid fiberglass hull. Due to lack of lakes in our area we also tested the houseboat on Pacific Ocean. We conquered 5 foot swells. The boat cut through well, but it was not a pleasant experience.

I spent 25K to bring the houseboat and trailer to recent condition.
