Minimax Hydroplane

This is a fun little boat to drive. I made one of these in 1965 and made a new one several years ago. It is made from plywood. It is8 feet long and 4 feet wide. Made from the original plans, but I used modern glues and materials, such as West's System Epoxy and modern marine paints and sealers.

The hydro comes with a steering wheel and cables and a throttle control. I have had a ten horse Merc and a 15 horse Johnson motor on this little baby. I call it an original jet ski. It is kind of like driving a go cart on the water. I have just put a new coat of paint on her.

The trailer can be bought for $500.00 but only with the boat.

I can deliver for free up to 100 miles away from Syracuse NY.

DON'T SEE A DATE ANYWHERE. HAD A "WATERBUG" IN THE 1950'S. BUILT ONE FROM SCRATCH WITHOUT PLANS IN THE 1980'S, LASTED 3 YEARS. IF YOU HAVE PLANS I'D SURE LIKE TO SEE 'EM.
