Glastron Carlson CV-23

For Sale or Trade: 1979 Glastron Carlson CV-23 V8 Jet Boat---This is a 23 foot Classic Boat with same hull as boat seen in James Bond Moonraker movie.

Boat has been completely restored---always stored inside---460 Big Block Ford V8 engine---newly rebuilt with less than 20 hours---high performance parts including marine hydraulic cam, aluminum intake, Holley aftermarket carb, billet distributor, hi torque starter, etc. Engine was professionally rebuilt by a well known engine builder was specializes in race engines.

Berkeley jet pump was rebuilt and has less than 20 hours also---also installed is a Place Diverter which allows you to adjust the pitch on how the boat launches---will allow for a quick plane of the nose when pulling a skier or can shoot a 25 footrooster tail---Original upholstery was touched up along with new throttle cables

Seats 6 comfortably---has cabin for extra seating/sleeping---cabin has skylight that pops open for sun tanning on the front deck---Paint is original Gold Sequins with yellow bottom---top was re-cleared last year.

Trailer is matching yellow Sundance brand that came with the boat---tandem axle with brakes and new lights---We restored this boat complete---we had planned to keep it "forever" so didn't spare any expense---built with the very best parts---My job only allows us to use it 1-2 times a year---it needs to go to a family who will appreciate it and use it as intended when new.

Bottom of boat in good condition---this boat has had a few very minor scuffs & scrapes over the years---has been touched up in a few places professionally. V8 jet boats require routine maintenance. We winterize the engine in the winter months---and have it tuned up in the spring every year. If you are looking for a boat that you don't have to check on at all---this is NOT for you! I generally look over the engine compartment every time we take it out. This is a classic boat that is over 35 years old----very nice but not brand new!!!Also includes newer marine battery, new travel cover, storage cover, radio & lots of additional parts---We also have a large tube, several sets of skies, life jackets, tow ropes, etc---that are available to purchase--or work into a package deal!
