NO RESERVE! This will sell for the auction price. Moving states, must go!
Manufactured by Baum Boats of Maine in 1960, as a 33' lobster boat. She worked for a seafood company until purchased in 2010. Then she was completely restored from keel up and transformed into the ultimate eye catching cruiser and fishing boat, subsequentlynamed Boatox. She nowhas a single low hour Volvo diesel - model Kad43, which makes her extremely reliable and fuelefficient with a nice cruising speed of around 15 knots. A moderndrip-lessbearing and new transmission were also installed. Boatox cruises like a modern boat and is extremely reliable with low maintenance. Hercedarwood hull makes for a very stable and smooth ride. She is a seaworthy designed vessel. There are many luxury systems like the Electronics. They include a state of the art JL audio sound system, Raymarine HD radar and Navigation, depth and HD fish finder. There is also an electric flushing head in the cabin. You can access the enginethroughdoors inside a sounddampenedenclosure. She is equipped with an extra-large battery bank, so electronics can run for extended periods. The cabin has plenty of storage for items like the stainless steel gas grill and fishing rods. Fishing is a toppriority on Boatox, so she has a large live well and many rod holders, plus a salt water wash down hose to keep the deck clean. The boat has amazing versatility with its two very functional padded cooler benches and deck table, its great forpicnics and partying!Using Boatox atnighttime is especially fun, because the custom LED lighting inside the cabin, pilothouse and deck, along with blue underwater LED lights, which not only look beautiful, but attract fish. The wood hull wascompletelyre-plankedin 2008, then chemically sealed with barrier coats to protect the wood in 2011 during the refit.
Boatox is currently in need of repairs, which are mostly cosmetic. Mainly to her port side rub rail area and deck, inside the cabin floor, rot issues on the inner head liner and some outer trim. They came from a few construction errors during her refit. The hull and structural portions look to be in good condition. Her mechanical and electrical systems work well. She starts right up and runs well, the necessary work is mostly carpentry to repair rot and finishing paint.
Over 100k was spent on the refit of Boatox during 2010 and 2011. This is your chance to get a true gem for a major steal. The auction is NO RESERVE, so it will sell for the auction price. Please ask any questions and arrange a visit if you want to inspect it before buying. Please note some pictures are older from months ago, but the others are from today. I tried to show the worst areas the best I could.
The boat is located in the water, at a marina in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The buyer can load it onto a trailer at the marina where it is. Boatox can be road transported, but needs a jack stand trailer or one with high enough skid boards to clear the keel. There are multiple boat yards and marinas nearby if the buyer chooses to haul out, or keep it somewhere else.
