1998 Malibu Sunsetter VLX Wakeboard Ski Boat-PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD! PROJECT BOAT!!Boat has been sitting for quite a while. Took it in on trade on another boat. Previous owner stated boat had been sitting for about 5 years.ENGINE- Monsoon 320hp fuel injected with 679 hours. By putting a little fuel directly into the throttle body, the engine will fire right up and run until it burns through the fuel. Motor sounds fine. I have a new fuel pump for it, but haven't hooked everything up. (Hence the stupid low price) Simple to get this up and running if you have some mechanical ability.INTERIOR- Boat will need a new interior. I have most of the cushions but a few of the pieces will need to be fabricated from scratch. The pieces that will need to get fabricated are the backrest cushions that go in the bow, the backrest cushion across the back of boat by engine, and drivers seat. I believe everything else is there.HULL- Overall, hull is in good shape with no notable damage. Has normal wear/tear but overall looks good.REAR PLATFORM-MISSINGTRAILER-road worthy with good tires.OVERALL BOAT WILL NEED- new swim platform, steering cable, new interior with some pieces fabricated, engine tune up, general TLC/Fix up. NO RESERVE!!!!With a new interior and engine running well, this is a $16000-$18000 boat all day long. This is a great opportunity to get into a V-Drive boat at a ridiculously low price. You could buy it, fix it up, and flip it for a profit, or keep it and own it for waaaaaay below market value.
