OKAY, maybe third time is the charm, both previous bidders did not have any funds, please do NOT bid if you cannot purchase. I re-listed this as bid item, it will have a low reserve... This is a 1963 (as I was told by the boat yard that sold it to me) Lone Star 16 ft boat. It is old and in good shape, the boat place ran the motor, he also installed a new transom and floor, as he was restoring the boat. He switched to a sail boat, and I bought the Lone Star. This boat is very solid, the windshield is nearly perfect. It is glass. I believe the motor and trailer are the same vintage. I repacked the wheel bearings, they looked very good, tires hold air but show some checking, the same for the spare. I put a new jack on the trailer, no lights. The boat was originally greenish, I painted it red and white to go behind my 63 dodge truck, but have since changed programs. The paint, while new, is not the best job, some runs and heavy spots.I have not heard the motor run, the dealer seemed pretty honest as he was restoring this piece of Americana, I was told by a boat collector the motor ( he called it a "Fat Four") could bring 600, the motor is very clean, and the windshield about 300 if I wanted to part it out.... I do not.I did start building seats, they need cushions, the wiring from the key to the back needs to be redone, the wire is fine, the insulation is gone. I liked the vent on the front, when open, it will scoop air into the passenger area. Boat sold with bill of sale, all Georgia requires. The lights and horn will need to be installed, I have a box of parts I will include. One name is missing, not sure if it is Lone or Star. I have kept the boat under cover. As I said, this is an old boat, looks to be in very good condition, I cannot offer warranty. Sale is final. Please ask all questions before auction ends. No shipping, pickup at Zip code 31831. No overseas or out of country, Payment clears before boat leaves property. PayPal preferred.Don't know what else to say, except, good luck bidding.
