Harris Flotebote

Need to juggle some of our priorities so our sweet pontoon has to go. Made by renowned pontoon manufacturer Harris-Kayot, this 1991 Harris Flotebote is all original and only used at Deep Creek Lake. Stored indoors in covered lofted storage every year of its life and it shows. Decking is solid without any warping or splitting. Frame is almost flawless, pontoons have minor stains from sitting at dock the past two weeks but cleaned annually before putting put up for the season and absolutely no leaks. Seats are in good shape with helm seat replaced a few years ago with a folding seat that is in good shape; rear bench and rear port side bench are without flaw and still look good. Front benches have some cracks but are otherwise serviceable (or easily recovered as they can be removed with two screws and dropped off at the local upholstery shop for simple re-covering). Fishing/relaxing chairs on bow are in perfect shape. Carpet is showing its age but is still fully functional and when dry looks decent. Factory swimming ladder works perfectly and still has 'traction strips' on steps. Ton of storage on board and nothing else needed to be on the water today.Boat also has fishing rod racks mounted forward and trolling rod holders for sides - and a brand new heavy duty bimini top too!The power plant - this is the highlight reel!! Powered by a 2000 Honda 4-stroke outboard. This Honda 40 is one of their most reliable motors on the market and sips fuel - runs for a week on 2-3 gallons. Power tuned, new impeller, lower unit serviced just a few weeks ago before splashing for the season. Prop is like new without any dings or imperfections. Runs like a top and purrs so quietly you can talk to everyone on-board at any speed. Top speed is almost 20 mph so not blazing but plenty quick for getting around the lake or pulling the kids in tubes.Fuel tanks and lines replaced before launching this season too - a fresh 12 gallon primary tank and a spare 6 gallon.All coast-guard required equipment, including PFD's, fire extinguisher, air horn, whistle, anchor with line and working nav lights.and there's more . . .a one year old marine radio with cd player and iPod hookup - all contained in Sony waterproof marine case. Also a brand new Lowrance depth/fish finder with temp gauge and new transducer - works perfectly in water 2' to 100' and shallow alarm is full proof. Two like-new marine batteries serve as the starting and reserve source of juice for this entire setup -redundancy is good :).Boat is in the water on Deep Creek Lake in Garrett county Maryland now and ready to go (our primary residence is in Annapolis but the boat has never been off of the lake). Clear title to boat, and also has current stickers if you don't have time to get to the gov't offices and want to take possession of her right away).10 person capacity per the manufacture's capacity plate.No trailer but happy to work with you until you find one or introduce you to local marina folks who haul and store it for us. In the interim we can discuss dock usage on the lake until you get trailering or storage squared away on your end.
