1982 20 Grady White Overnighter Project

225 1988 Johnson Runs strong. Tops out at almost 40mph.

Full tank of gas! Holds 65 gallons, has about 55 to 60 on board.

Looks great. This is a pretty boat.

Transom needs rebuilding. Engine needs hood and port side lower cowling repaired or replaced.

I intended to upgrade / restore this boat 100%. Wife now wants something bigger so I have lost my enthusiasm for the project. My loss is your gain. $11,127.00 invested! It breaks my heart to give her up. Run her all day at 25 30 mph and burn only 7 gph.

In the past year or so the following has been performed;

7/17/13 All carbs rebuilt

8/28 New Lowrance HDS 5 Gen2 Nautic Insite

10/5/13 New power pack

10/18/13 New tachometer

10/18/13 New Cobria VHF radio

1/14 Refinish cockpit with Interlux Brightside

2/14 Refinish all woodwork. Remove, strip and varnish.

3/23/14 New thermostats, new impeller

5/17 New 2nd bilge pump

6/14 New stereo and speakers

8/23 New battery.

I do not intend to waste any of your time so I will be direct and to the point. I have the same year and model boat and I am currently restoring it as well. I simply wanted to ask you what the process was in refinishing the wood work through the boat. It looks gorgeous and would love to do mine! Any advice is greatly appreciated.
