You are bidding on a 1982 Four Winns Santara 204 Cuddy Cabin Boat. I purchased this from an auction intending to fix it, but discovered that the engine (Mercruiser 470) wasn't worth pursuing. I had the engine, transom, and outdrive professionally removed to break down for parts, and was going to take the boat apart too, but frankly, it strikes me as being a little too nice to destroy! Everything I've seen on this boat indicates that it delivered years of family fun before being winterized and parked when the engine gave up.Full Specs are available on the Four Winns Web Site.I instructed the mechanic to remove the engine carefully so the hull will be ready for a different drivetrain. The mechanic indicated that the hull appears to be solid. This could be a great opportunity for someone with a similar boat that is damaged or has a bad transom, has a destroyed or missing interior, or someone with a rotted-out bowrider with a working I/O.The interior needs a good cleaning (leaves currently frozen to it) but should come back pretty well. There are no obvious rips or cracks. The cuddy cabin cushions are all complete, and this boat is equipped with the optional head. I have what is left of the snap cover and zip-off camper windows (sun damaged) so you may be able to use them as a template. The complete dashboard and controls are present. The hull has a clean Michigan title, and is registered. Due to illegal boat dumping, I will need a copy of your ID and matching information filled in on the title before you take possession. If you don't intend to fix it (e.g. stripping the interior), I have some contacts for affordable legal disposal in the area.I am selling the boat only at this point -- I need the trailer for another project, but will let it go for an additional $350. If you don't want the trailer, we can negotiate delivery. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you!
