This Cruisers Yacht is a great boat that's been maintained with an open checkbook. Great cockpit layout and large, roomy cabin floor plan that sleeps 6. While a relatively large boat, the twin Bravo III drives make for a very responsive ride. It maneuvers well, jumps right up on plane, and can reach almost 40 mph.
There are approximately 320 hours on the twin Mercruiser 5.7L Thunderbolt 5 enginesmatched to BravoIII outdrives. Both the engines and drives are in great conditon. There are two bilge pumps, one aft in the engine compartment and one under the cabin floor. An automatic halon extinguisher system and two 75 gallon aluminum fuel tanks (one port, one starboard) are located in the engine compartment which is easy to access from a large deck hatch and spacious enough to easily perform maintenance.
In the cabin you'll find a forward berth, setee that converts to a bed, and a mid-berth couch that converts to a third sleeping space. The head contains a pump flush toilet as well as a sink and stand-up shower. The galleyarea has plenty of cabinet space, a single burnerprincess stove, microwave, and AC/DC fridge. The hot water heater was replaced recently and provides a generous hot water supply- we rarely have issues running out of hot water even for showers. The cabin is climate controlled wth reverse cycle AC/heat that works great. The cabin is clean and in like new condition.
On deck you'll find a roomy cockpit with a bench seat at the helm and seating for 6 with removable tables. The seating is also easily removed to open up more deck space. A deck sink is positioned above cabinets on the port side. Electronics include aRaymarine RL70 radar/GPS, Uniden VHF, Clarion radio w/ remote at helm and new speakers on deck. Mounted on the radar arch is a closed dome radar array, a GPS antenna, and a television antenna. An automatic windlass with bow and cockpit controls makes anchoring up easy. A remote controlled spotlight is an asset for night navigation. A full cockpit enclosure and cockpit cover are both included. The canvas on the cockpit enclosure is in good condition and the eisenglass is fairly clear andhas few scratches. A shore power cable, marine cable TV wiring, and water supply hose are housed in an aft compartment on the stern above the large swim platform. There is full snap-in carpeting for the cockpit, but we've never used it.
The hull and topsides are boat in great condition. There are a few small surface cracks in the gelcoat on the port edge of the swim platform, the aft aspect of the radar arch where it attaches to the deck, and on the top of the radar arch. All are cosmetic and not structural issues. The hour meter and tachometer for the port engine are not working properly, but all other instrumentation works well. The macerator pump was removed from the waste circut as we always use pumpouts. There are no other known issues with the boat. It's in ready to go condition and I wouldn't hesitate to take it from here to Florida. Done this season: Both engines: Replaced carbs, manifolds and risers, iridium plugs, wires, caps, rotors. Both outdrives: New lower shift cables, u-joint and shift cable bellows, new anti-fouling paint, all anodes replaced in April and again in July, new trim hydraulic lines. New starter starboard side, new water pump starboard, new gimbal bearing starboard, new seals and shift assembly upper unit starboard side. New battery charger/maintainer, two new batteries, new shower sump pump, new upper shift cable starboard side. Fresh bottom paint. Two new marine speakers on deck. All outdrive work has been performed by Mercury technicians.
The boat is currently in the water on Long Beach Island, NJ. The slip is paid for through mid-October and will be transferredto the buyer for use for the remainder of the season.
A recent survey isavailable (April 2014). Maintenance records from the past 5-6 years are available.
We love this boat but are planning to move up to something larger- probably another Cruisers! Please let me know if you have any further questons and I'd be happy to answer them.
