My good friend is selling his boat after 7 years of ownership due to family health concerns. He bought it from our common friend in Florida and I've personally been on it and know it ran and performed very well. It has a head, sleeps 6 including a captain's quarters that is below the helm. It has a refer, propane cooktop and wood cabinetry. Floors are fiberglass and all sold. Transom was inspected and solid. Engine compartment is clean. No accidents, hull is all original, older bottom paint can be used as is. All was working fine.In the winter of 2015, he began a cosmetic restoration and started to make some technical upgrades and repairs. He removed most of the decorative wood and cabin doors on deck and refinished them. Also, he had all the upholstery redone in a carbon fiber look vinyl and it's all there, just needs to be cleaned off. With that done, he then moved on to other technical upgrades such as wiring in a new stereo, an alternator conversion to replace the generator setup for more electrical power, to allow a house battery conversion. Due to a family illness, he never got to finish so the boat sat in storage since 2016. He has now decided to sell it and continue to prioritize his family for 2019.The engines are twin Mercruiser 190s with 4 barrel carburetors. Theoutdrives are in good shape with stainless props and all ran fine with no mechanical issues. New exhaust one-way valves and bellows were installed in 2015. One of the engines was running a bit rich, so he removed thecarburetorto get it rebuilt but never got to do it. Each year, he started the engines to keep them fresh, then winterized them again at the marina. Right now, it is still winterized. I am no boat expert, and neither is he, but here is what he told me it will need before it goes back out on the water.1) The interior's radio needs to be wired back in and the sliding cabinet doors on the wall need to be repaired.2) Carburetor needs to be rebuilt.3) Alternator conversion needs to be completed on Port engine (used to be a generator setup)4) House battery conversion needs to be completed.5) Black water holding tank has a leaky plastic fitting to be replaced.6) Hot water heater needs to be replaced if you want a warm shower, old one is gone.7) Relays and/or switches to be replaced for trim tabs and outdrive tilt as they didn't always work.8) Top enclosures need a good professional cleaning. Windows are intact but dirty.9) Side windows leak, need to be removed and sealed to do it right.10) A thorough detail from top to bottom. There are some miscellaneous parts and brackets he will include. Also included is a free aluminum triple axle trailer that will be provided to the buyer of the boat. It will not be for sale individually. It is free to the buyer because there is no title (lost it) and you'll have to figure that out on your own but once done, you'll have an expensive trailer for nothing. Tires were replaced in 2015, bearings work fine, just did a trip in January 2019 to bring it from storage to my house to photograph and list. Taillights work, tongue jack is broken where the handle goes. Brakes are surge style but I do not think they work.In full transparency, this is a great boat that will need some time and elbow grease. I may have forgotten to mention some other things as well. For the money, you won't find anything this substantial for the price. The boat will be sold with an open and clear NY State Transferable Registration still under my friend's name as NY does not issue titles for 1986 boats. This is proof of ownership. Also included will be a bill of sale for the trailer. No title for the trailer. Sold as is sale is final. Payment in full is due at time of pickup, the price that is agreed upon via classifieds board is the price you will pay, nothing more, nothing less. Come with a good size 1/2 ton or larger truck with a 2-5/8" ball and get ready for the summer!I have a company that delivers for $2 per loaded mile within the US, insured, if you need it brought to your door.
