Chris Craft Continental

Offered for sale is a 1957Chris Craft Continental.This is hull number 447 of 484 Continentals built from 1955-1958. The boat is 17ft 11 inch with a beam of 6ft 7 inch. We have enjoyed the boat ever summer since the restoration. I purchased this boat in 2009 as a user boat. We quickly found out that it had some issues and decided to do a bottom up restoration. 95% of the wood planks and interior structure were either repaired or replaced. Restoration included restored gauges by Dale Kocian, all deck hardware re-chromed by S&H Chrome in Nashville, TN, and complete custom upholstery by a local craftsman. Integrated ski tow and custom swim platform. No expense was spared in bringing this Chris Craft back to life. The boat has a maintenance free 3M 5200 no soak bottom installed. 15 coats of hand laid varnish. Has the original Hercules KFL engine installed which was rebuilt by the previous owner and changed over to electronic ignition.The boat comes with the single axle trailer shown in the photos and a custom made waterline cover is also included.This is truly a one of a kind boat, which must be seen to appreciate the details.Inspection and Survey:Survey and inspection of the boat is welcome.
