1961 Chris Craft 50' ConstellationThis vessel is still on the hard and winterized. We have recently done some cleaning and removal of carpet and other items. April and May yard storage has been paid as well as launching the boat back into the water. We have lowered the price considerably with intent of a quick sale.Vessel recently performed a Sea Trial/Move. It ran for over 100 miles with no hiccups. Both engines maintained 2500+ RPMs and burned less than 10 Gal per engine, per hour. Cruising speed was 10+ knots. The bilge only kicked on once or twice but no water came in the hull during the trip. The bottom of this boat is very tight. Most electronics are functioning, Radar, Depth, Gauges, Horn, VHF. Shift and throttle controls work great, no hesitation in shifting or throttle, Helm is very smooth and responsive. Was used as a Full-time Liveaboard, it is floating and operable. This Antique, Classic wood "Connie" has topside damage from rain water intrusion. This boat is a project boat for the right person. Engines run great, have low hours, port engine has been replaced about 6 years ago and boat is in operable condition. Recent survey found she needs to be hauled, repaired and painted. Estimates on repairs vary depending on how far you want to take it and whether or not you have it done professionally and is mostly labor. Recent safety inspection completed. Vessel has been shrink wrapped and winterized every year. The seller is being forced to sell by the marina where he has a slip since they are no longer allowing wooden boats.Boat is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS in St Marys county in Southern Maryland. Owner has already taken care of having vessel moved to a boatyard that will allow you to work on your boat in their yard making this a great Do-it Yourself project. Owner has also had boat hauled out, winterized and stored for the season.General Description:LOA: 50'BEAM: 14.1'DRAFT: 3.5'ENGINES: 2, Hardin 454 cu inCOMBINED HP: 640 HPFUEL: GASTANKS: 2TYPE: ALUMINUMCAPACITY: 205 GALLONS EACHAREA: AFT Cockpit, Galley, forward and aft StateroomHEAD: 1Estimated Dry Weight: 40 tonsDisclaimer: Gladys Marine, Inc. offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.
