This boat is a must see if looking for a classic, a CC Commander...or any 40' boat. It is a classic that turns heads no matter where we take it. The teak work grabs everyone's attention and the mahogany interior keeps their jaws dropped. The bright chrome plated steps shine in the sun (but don't hold heat) and the wood slats on the flybridge floor are unlike any floor you'll see on any other boat. The large sliding door to the aft deck makes you feel as if you're outside when you're actually inside. For the price, this boat is a must see and a must not miss! It may be the nicest 38' Commander in existence.
Since owning the boat, we've made multiple improvements. The previous owner, who was the original owner, did a fine job of keeping the boat in it's clean, original condition. He had the starboard engine rebuilt and kept everything in good running condition. We just took it to another level, starting with the mechanics and working outward to the interior and then exterior. I have a list of receipts from 2008 to present totalling $50,000+ spent on this boat. It not only includes all of the items below but also all maintenance and waxing. I did not include a picture here but can send you the list via email. THIS BOAT IS A TURN KEY, READY FOR SUMMER ENJOYMENT!
