Chris Craft 516

This is a rare original 1936 Chris Craft 19 Ft Model 516 Custom Runabout with its original Chrysler engine. Includes Continentalaluminum trailer.

We have just completed a complete restoration on this mostly original boat. All frames, stringers, hardware, motor, trans,drive line, dash cluster areoriginal (cleatsare new).We have replaced the Mahogany planks. The bottom is a West System "no soak needed system". 16 coats of Interlux 96 spar varnish on exterior planks. Interlux copper racing bronze on the bottom.

The motor has been freshened with valve job, new head gasket, rebuilt carb. and fuel pump. The oil pressure is 40lb atidle. All new electrical including wiring. The dash cluster and allgaugeshave beenprofessionallyrestored.

All lights and horn are functional. the wood on the restored banjo steering wheel is cherry. We have finished the floor boards in Mahogany.

Thehardwarehas beenre-chromedwhere needed. New step pads installed. The Klum switch has been restored. All new outdoor vinyl interior (feels and looks like leather). New packing in stuffing boxes. New battery.

The Continental trailer is all aluminum with brakes and spare tire. Tires and trailer are like new and bought specifically for this boat.
