Caravelle Interceptor 212

This 2003 21 foot Caravelle Powerboats model 212 Intercepter is basically in like new condition with only 117 hours of use. The boat looks fast even when sitting still and the hull design is excellent. This is Caravelle's high performance go fast model.The boat cuts through the water with ease even on busy days and is very easy to drive and trailer. 117 hours are extremely low and this boat looks beautiful inside and out. The boat comes with all factory accessories and its original matching Tennessee tandem axle Trailer with upgraded chrome wheels. The boat will do 52 MPH on smooth water and is still good on gas. Comes with through hull / silent choice exhaust as well.

Im the second owner of the boat and I bought it locally in Concord, NC from a private NASCAR mechanic 6 years ago. He bought the boat new at Water World in Durham, NCand used it on Lake Norman. The original dealer stickers are still on the boat and trailer. We have enjoyed the boat on Lake Wylie in Charlotte, NCand it has always been stored indoors during the off season. Maintenance, oil changes and winterization have been performed at the end of each season. I have all maintenance records and receipts. The boat runs perfectly without any issues and comes with all the paperwork and original owners manuals / accessories from new. Every, switch, gauge, light, etc are in perfect working order. The boat is all original, unmodified and with all matching numbers.

Im a private owner, not a dealer and Im extremely picky about the condition of my toys. The boat looks like new inside and out because it has been properly cared for and maintained over the years. I've only run ethanol free gas in the boat.Most times when we go out on the water, Its just the wife and I with no children or pets. This means minimal wear and tear on the boat. The gelcoat is shiny and undamaged. There is not a scratch or mark anywhere. No issues. The side decals are excellent without any damage. The interior carpet, upholstery, trim, compartments, engine and engine bay look almost new and are clean like a new boat without any defects or damage. All exterior chrome and stainless trim look like new.

The boat comes with everything needed to get right on the water. The canvas snap cockpit cover looks like new and was just treated for water resistance. The original Caravelle full cover is included as well for winter storage. The boat also comes with its factory bimini top. Also included: anchor with rope, both extra factory cushions for the front of the boat, fire extinguisher, 4 safety jackets, safety throw float, navigation light pole, wetsuit and ski rope. The trailer has upgraded chrome wheels and Goodyear Marathon tires with 95 percent tread remaining.

As for performance, the 5.0 Mercruiser MPI engine and Alpha One outdrive get the job done without breaking the bank. The boat will do 52 on smooth water and is still good on gas. The engine runs perfectly and does not smoke or burn any oil. Again, no issues. Comes with stainless prop for added performance and Captains Choice silent or through hull exhaust, this is one of my favorite options on the boat. The engine sounds like a big block with the exhaust switched on and gets plenty of attention.

Interior upgrades include new factory Caravelle red and black steering wheel, JVC High Def radio with CD and MP3 input for connecting your smartphone, iphone for Pandora, Iheart radio, Itunes, etc. Kicker 3 way 6x9 rear speakers are included along with new stainless steel cupholders, big 875 cranking amp marine battery and more.

The interior is just as sporty as the outside and is clean white with red and black accents. The seats are comfortable and the boat is rated to hold up to 9 people safely. The gauges are laid out well with Livorsi style anodized red trimrings and white faces.There is a depthfinder and trim indicator as well. There are plenty of storage compartments from a passenger side glove box to a built in cooler up front for beverages. The front also has two extra compartments and there are larger storage areas under the rear seat and on both sides of the engine compartment. There is also a ski compartment below the floor.

I have clear NC titles in hand for the boat and trailer. This boat looks new in its design and condition and turns heads on the water. Ive never offered it for sale before and have to let it go because of other car projects and toys. Garage space is becoming pretty tight. The boat easily looks like $30,000+ and looks much better than new boats in the $16 to $18K price range. Its kind of a mini go fast boat. Youd probably end up with a 4 or 6 cylinder 18 foot boat for this money without the looks or performance of my boat. Book value for average retail with average / moderatewear and tear and average hours with the included accessories would be around $15K. The low hours and exceptional condition separate this boat from the rest. Youre welcome to come by in person to inspectand we can schedule a test drive.
