Selling this 16' 1984 Bayliner Capri Cuddy Cabin that has been completely redone. When I got this boat last fall, I stripped the entire floor out along with the stringers and took it right down to the hull. I glassed in new Douglas Fir stringers with drain tubes so the water can get down to the bottom of the hull instead of laying next to the stringers. Ithen topped it with a 3/4" Marine Plywood floor that has 2 coats of resin on each side. The floor is designed to be able to be removed for inspection. This boat has new carpet in the interior walls of the hull as well as new carpet on the entire floor. All of the floor carpet has been "hemmed" so it can easily be removed for cleaning. Along with all new carpet, it has new seats & pedestals with swivels. Here is a partial list of new items in this boat: new bilge pump, all new dashboard with new switches, digital volt meter, 12 volt Aux power plug, new gas tank, fuel line, primer bulb and tank & engine fuel fittings. New battery tray (the battery is about 1&1/2 years old & is perfect). All of the Nav & Anchor lites work perfectly. I even installed a new horn. It also has the original Bayliner swim platform with fold up ladder mounted on the rear for easy in & out of the water. As for the motor, it is a 2011 Yamaha 9.9HP 4 stroke High Thrustwith power tilt, Model T99GPXH. It starts and runs perfectly as you can see from the video. The power tilt is controllable from the motor as well as on the Yamaha 703 shift control making for easier loading. For the record, the Kelly Blue Book value on this particular motor is between $2110 & $2370. The trailer is galvanized with all new lights, new front jack & wheel. Tires are in excellent condition and it has a brand new spare tire & wheel mounted to the trailer. Hubs are equipped with Bearing Buddies for easy maintenance. The trailer has custom made Easy Load Guides to make loading and unloading very easy-one person can literally load or unload this boat by themselves. I tow this unit with a 2005 Toyota Tacoma with a 4 cylinder & 5 speed with no problem at all. While I do have a "generic" rain cover for it that works very well, I keep it inside when not in use. The entire package fits into one side of my 20' x 24' two car garage. Measurements are: 77" high at the highest point, 89" wide including the bumpers on the loading guides & 19' long from the back of the swim deck to the front of the the trailer ball. Keep in mind that this is a 32 year old boat & while it is super sound both mechanically & structurally, it IS 32 years old and is not pristine cosmetically, but as you can see from the pictures, it will still will turn some heads. If you are looking for a very sound boat to just tool around the lake and not have to worry about ANYTHING, this might be the boat for you. Also included is all the required safety equipment, 2 new adult life jackets, new fire extinguisher, 2 anchors and assorted ropes for docking, etc. Basically, just add water! I had a lot of fun bringing this little gem back to life and did not cut corners on parts, material or labor. It always gets a lot of "looks" when we take her out and will give someone years of fun. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have a lot more pictures of the actual restoration of the stringers and floor if you'd want to see the work that went into that as well. I would like to look at your boat. ***
Nice boat. Would you consider selling the boat and trailer without the engine?
