Upper and lower helm stations allow comfortablecruising in any weather. Accommodations include a large forward berthand private midship compartment with double berth. The 2858 featuresan all-electric galley, enclosed head with shower, vanity mirror, andmarine toilet for optimum livability. Every Bayliner is designed andbuilt to meet or exceed all applicable standards of the US. CoastGuard, and every one carries the certification seal of the NationalMarine Manufacturers Association. Everything from gelcoats tocarpeting is subjected to extreme climate exposure and stress testingfar beyond the limits of normal use. The biggest test comes when thehull meets the water the prototypes are put through gruelingperformance, handling, and endurance trials. Hull strength, ridecharacteristics, fuel efficiency, engine performance, and more are allscientifically evaluated. Bayliner seals the transom opening duringthe lay-up process. Most builders simply cut an opening through thetransom of a completed hull, exposing stiffening end grain andinviting decay. No exposed wood means longer hull life.FINE PRINT:1. The price is 30% bellow market price and about the same as the tax break if donated to charity. This could happen sooner than expected since a yard charge will go into effect in October if the boat is not moved.2. If you or your designated agent can't come to the location of the boat, the bill of sale will contain the words FOR PARTS. No time for disputes about misunderstandings.3. IL residents get a special DNR State Approvedbill of sale. No paper title necessary!4. If you need a paper title the expected date of issue is October 15th (it takes about 3 month to get one and it was applied for last month). I have no control over state paperwork. This should not impede someone taking mediate ownership of the boat in most jurisdictions.5. The boat has been started on dry with a hose and water muffs in June 2016.6. The outside pictures were taken in July 2016. The other pictures should be considered REFERENCE ONLY and not current.7. You can take a look any time at the boat during business hours at Lars Marine in Waukeegan IL. If you want to do a sea trial or any other inspection you bear the cost and need an appointment.
