Boat season is here and you can be ready with a reliable newer boat. She has 125 hours and she is ready to ride. I have performed many upgrades to this already top of the line boat.
If you are unfamiliar with this boat, check out this video from Yamaha. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIIy0wQXUUQ
also, many internet searches will give you a solid idea of this boat. Therefore I am not going to tell you about the standard features that come on every 2014 Yamaha Limited S. Rather, I am going to tell you about what I did to make this boat better then anything else you can get for the price.
Fully automated ballast system (parts cost $2000), 3 bags on 3 separate pumps. One 400#bag is port, one 400# bag is starboard and one 580# in the center floor locker. See my installation here: http://yamahajetboaters.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62676
Perfect Pass GPS based speed control system (parts cost$1500). This is hands down one of the best mods for this boat. If you are into wakeboarding or skiing, you need this, and with the ballasts, this ride is all set for you. Ask anyone and they will tell you its very difficult to get the speed of a jet boat dialed in while driving and paying attention to the surroundings
Ocean LED colours A8 (parts cost $1200). 2 underwater color changing lights that make your wake look awesome in the darker hours. Here is my write up http://yamahajetboaters.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62042
hydroteak flooring (parts cost $1000) throughout. No carpeting to remove and dry, instead soft hydroteak is installed and is much nicer
magnum charger/invertor (parts cost $1000)puts 110v power at your fingertips, for those camping trips on the lake it is powerful enough for a 4 cup coffee maker. it also doubles as a battery charger, so you can keep your batteries nice and charged all the time by plugging in to 110v power similar to shore power.
glove box spring and light so it stays open and you can see whats inside
Box anchor, anchor hatch spring, front boarding handles - these are those annoying things that you are like 'seriously, you didn't just have this installed, how am I supposed to use the front boarding ladder?"
rear platform handles so you can hold on the swim platform while travelling (might be illegal to do this lots of fun though)
trulock clean out plug locking system ($100) to prevent blowouts
thrust vector XL ($400) which is a steering fin which aids in slow speed maneuvering
Billet Rear view mirror ($400)to watch the action
2 wakeboard racks ($400)
Anchor light relocation to top of the tower ($200)
2 AGM Diehard platinum D34 batteries - one of the best batteries available along with battery relocation to gain storage space (brand new boats don't typically come with batteries, go figure)
red lighted speaker rings just cause they are cool
all aftermarket accessories are fused ina central location for convenience and safety.
the parts alone cost over $8000 and that does not include labor to install them. On top of that is a beautiful cardinal RED boat with a black mooring/towing cover as well as the shipping cover.
The boat has a nice bimini cover and transom mounted shower standard and also includes the galvanizedtrailer with a spare tire.
Also have the balance of the transferable factory 5 yr YES warranty, expires February 24, 2019 so 2 full summer seasons of boating confidence remain
I own the boat outright with no liens, title in hand. Boat is a steal with all the included accessories. I will include everything to be legal on the water as soon as you receive the boat (except a boater's license and registration!) that means 8 life jackets, flares, fire extinguisher etc. will also throw in a tube and rope and a wakeboard and handle too to get started. I can assist in shipping or possibly deliver
She spends her off-season hibernating in a garage keeping her very clean and dry. Ask me any questions, I have most of the answers - thanks
