Description:

You are looking at a 1954 Whirlwind Wooden speedboat that is 17ft long. This is an estate sale. My friend restored this boat once, and had a great time doing it. We both had antique boats at the time and had fun riding in them. This boat rode nicely and was quick with the 70hp Mercury. It has been winterized and ran well last time it was used. The trailer does not come with the boat but it is available for and additional $500.00. It is a 1980 and the bearings have been done and it is in good shape.

Whirlwinds were made by an airplane builder that started in Dundalk Maryland and later were built in Cockeysville Md. Buy a piece of history here. The buyer also can have a big piece of mahogany that was purchased for this boat. Fix this antique and have a reasonable head turner. Clear title for the boat and trailer. Located in Middle River Md near Baltimore.

Hello, my name is Tom and I am a native of the Baltimore area. I grew up in Pimlico and moved out to Baltimore County back in 1968 with my family. I saw your boat on this site and wanted to see if you still had the boat for sale? It looks like a couple people contacted you 3 years ago so I figured it is probably long gone. Just in case though, I figured it would at least be worth a shot to ask you. It would be awesome to have the boat made so close to where I grew up. Let me know, Thanks in advance.
