Feathercraft

1958 Feathercraft boat (16'), trailer, and 35 HP Johnson Seahorse outboard (RDS-20) purchased as a package in 1959. Everything was in storage for ~30 years and then I started a slow overhaul. The trailer was sandblasted and painted. The boat has repaired/repainted floorboards, sanded/varnished mahogany transom, new bilge pump, and white epoxy paint below the waterline. The original cable steering was replaced with a conventional system (I still have all the old hardware). The outboard starts and runs, but will need more attention before it is ready to drive the boat. Also included are two steel fuel tanks, the Johnson service manual, a spare prop and an assortment of engine parts I have yet to install. I am willing to sell the outboard separately. Pick it up in Exeter, NH or Raymond, ME or I'm willing to deliver along my Interstate 95/495/290/84 route from Maine to Pennsylvania. The boat and trailer are in a heated garage and pick-up/delivery can be delayed until springtime.The boat's serial number is DCL7 112 589BO. According to FeatherCraft.net that means the boat was built in July 1958 (production #112).
