1975 Bezoats shovelnose hydroplane with a Mercury KG4H outboard motor. Trailer included. The boat is in exceptional condition. I know from it's previous owner that is was raced, so I am guessing it was refinished after being retired. It seems impossible that the boat was raced and it is in this nice of condition. The wood is solid as the day Shannon Bowman put it together. Absolutely no rot whatsoever. The finish, including the painted (not stick on) graphics and numbers are in excellent condition. It may be not perfect, but it is close. The Karavan trailer has bunks specifically constructed for this boat and has excellent tires, new races and bearings, bearing buddies and two leaves removed from the leaf spring set unto soften the ride for this light boat. It rides and tows great. The KG4H as been on a stand in my office since I bought it. It is not a factory H motor but it is a numbers matching motor with a factory sealed powerhead and the correct trim used on an H motors. The compression is 140 psi top and 141 psi bottom. The ignition has been rebuilt and fires with a strong spark. It has new seals and very good 1:1 gears. Paint is a 9.5 out of a 10. No welds or repairs to the powerhead, tower or gear foot. I just enjoy looking at it. The Hydro also has a custom fit cover and it comes with a perfect kneeling pad also not shown. Together as a package this is a great way to have some fun on your lake this summer enjoying something that not many others will have. Thanks for looking. Please email with any questions. The boat is in Rockport, ME and is for sale locally too.
