this auction is for a 1947 red&white express cruiser with ano reserve the boat is in the water and is in good condition the boat dose start and the motoris a v-8 not the original flathead straight 8 I will say I like the power from the v-8 Borg warner gear box. nice combination the boat has been converted to 12 volt dc thehelmhas beenchanged over as well the boat has had major restorations over the years the stem for foot and bow ,rib planks,where re done to single plank the cabin was restored as well it has the Wilcox head in the cabin plenty of space port starboard berths ,this boat is for sale locally and may be removed from this auction you may view the boat in the berth there is a crack in the starboard safety plateglass windshield the floor boards are marine plywood with epoxy and sterling paint non skid the topsides have been fiber glassed with west system epoxy and try-directional cloth nice strong water tight ,built to last the upholstery is in good condition the hull and bottom should be painted and thatcost is built in to thepricethis is a chance to own a red & white I have had this boat for over 25 years and spent some of the best boat rides have been on this boat it has a nice bow that cuts thru the chop trim tabs that help you plan gets the bow down for that plan the boat has three bilge pumps one in the cabin the other by the motor and one aftthe boat has many extra features nice gas tank custom lights the photo in the cabin shows the newer bow that cost over $20,000 two rebuild this boat will be a classic forever she has won first place second place third place in the Sausalito lighted boat parade the san Francisco bay where this boat has been for many years taking people on some wonderful boat rides the hull needs some paint you can see from the photos I have always kept her up but my life got busy and I just cant find the time like I usedto any way you can call me phone rick I will help with shipping the boat get it on a trailer its in the berth I can power wash in get it ready to ship thank you
