1988 Boston Whaler Montauk

1988 Boston Whaler Montauk 17 with a 2021 Honda 100 HP purchased new March 2021. The factory warranty on the engine is for 5 years transferrable to the new buyer. The engine is under warranty until March 2026 - Currently the engine has - 83.9 hours - I use the boat usually once a week - a few hours at a time so it may change. The engine cosmetically and mechanically is a 10. The 20 hour service was performed by the selling dealer. The hull is all original gel coat inside and out and for its year is in above average condition. Engine is flushed after every use. The trailer is a 2016 and as you can see is on the heavier duty size with an upgraded torsion bar axle with new hubs bearings and seals. Tires are like brand new This is a turn key boat - 2021 upgrades include(1) New 2021 Honda 100 HP with stainless prop - in addition the accessory NEMA harness was installed allowing transfer of all engine data to the multifunction display - displays for example engine temperature, GPH - gallons per hour usage, rpm, etc - this engine sips gas - I generally fish in the river for 4 hours with engine at idle will burn for the entire day 1 1/2 gallons to 2 gallons max - I did make a run 6 miles roundtrip 12 miles and fished for a couple hours at idle in the river - biggest burn gas day of 4 gallons all day - no exaggeration - the dealer I purchased engine from is also the place I launch at - any info buyer needs they can get it from the dealer - I welcome it. All Honda gauges are new, engine controls and cables are new, Fuel lines are new(2) ELECTRONICS - 2021 - I added a 2021 Simrad GO7 GPS, Chart Plotter with card, and Depth finder, it has screens/pages you can view engine info also - I also added a new VHF Horizon Eclipse that is set up with DSC for emergencies - GPS data is sent by a Cobra antenna on dash - small square box. MMSI number was set up and info can be changed to new owner the number - MMSI stays with the radio.(3) Every wire on the boat was tossed - All new wiring front to rear - all marine grade purchased at West Marine - Bilge pump is new also. A new rub rail was installed and all new wires under rail to running lights were replaced. The seat was replaced 2022 - installed this year. All safety equipment and life jackets are new 2021. (4) There is a full Mills cover that may be original but is in good shape - no tears , material looks good. Not in photos is a Taylor bimini top that I used a few times but prefer to fish without. Igloo was new with cushion 2020. (5) There are 8 clamp on rod holders plus 2 in the seat backrest, and 6 dry storage in front of console - all total 16 rod holders (6) Last year I stripped all of the teak cleaned it and put fresh teak oil - it is a little more work but looks so much better - all teak is in good shape - The Red Whaler decals were new last year- the name of the boat GG is vinyl lettering and can be easily removed.
